WILEY-JENNY-L Indian captive and pioneer heroine Jenny (Sellards) Wiley who was born in Pennsylvania in 1760. Jenny was captured in 1789 in Walkers Creek, Bland County, Virginia by a group of renegade Indians and escaped several months later in Johnson County, Kentucky where she died in 1831.
