STOKES-WILLIAMHENRY-L William Henry Stokes who was born in Georgia in 1813; raised in Warren County, Tennessee; and moved to Winston County, Alabama around 1838. William died in 1884 in Clay County, Arkansas. His father is believed to be Thomas Stokes, born 1770-1775. Other probable chidren of Thomas are Alfred B. Stokes (b1815), Young Stokes (b1816), and James Stokes (b1810).
